Happy Birthday to My Husband!

Today is Luis' birthday, and I am so blessed to have not only a wonderful husband who I know loves me more than anything in this world, but to have a wonderful father for my daughters! I love you baby, and so do your girls!!!!!

Thanksgiving in January

So I have been a bad blogger lately...and I just realized I never posted any pictures from Thanksgiving (things have been a bit chaotic). We celebrated with Luis' family this year and the girls spend most of the afternoon outside with their cousin playing! They also discovered sidewalk chalk for the first time and had a blast!!

Holiday Pout

So we took the girls to go see Santa the other night....thankfully there was zero wait, but the girls were not so excited. We sat them down and they looked at us like, really? And then the pout formed....and it stayed until we picked her up. Emma was about 5 seconds away from a pout herself, but never quite got there. There were no tears shed by either, just one big pout, with very sad and expressive eyebrows...oh the suffering we put our kids through ;o)

12 month stats....just a tad late!

So we finally had the girls "12 month" apt last week. I completely forgot to schedule their apt. until the week before their birthday and the soonest apt. they had was Nov. 23! CRAZY! But things were fine and both girls checked in great! Their current stats

Paige...

Height - 30 in.

Weight - 25 lbs 4 0z.

90th percentile

Emma...

Height - 28 1/2 in.

Weight - 19 lbs 11 oz.

15th percentile

Yep thats right, I have 2 kids on complete ends of the charts!! I laughed when she read the percentiles to me! Paige has stayed consistent in her growth and weight but Emma has pretty much leveled off...she is a peanut! But they are both healthy and well so that is all that matters!

Freedom!

So there is nothing like playing outside in the early morning sun in your pj's!! Monday after breakfast the girls just needed a change of scenery, so we headed outside...they had a blast and got quite dirty!!! Lets just say the playtime ended with a trip to the bath tub! Of course I saw this as a perfect opportunity to get out my camera! They found an empty pot that just had dirt in it, from a plant I recently pulled out...let's just say they were quite entertained by it! Oh! and in case you can't tell from the pics...Paige is completely walking now!! I officially have 2 toddlers!!!!

Trick-O-Treat!

I just realized I never posted pics from their first trick-o-treating! I think we had more fun than they did, but they always enjoy a ride in their wagon! Here they are! Daddy picked out this years' costumes, and they were just too cute!! We have always called Emma our little monkey, so it was perfect for her...and Paige, well who can resist a little green dragon!!!!! I still have to post their more "formal" pic of the 2 of them in their costume!

come on guys....let's go...I don't have all night!!

I think we can officially say...

...that we have 2 toddlers!!! Paige took her first few steps a few weeks ago but has been walking more and more the past few days. She is still not 100% but I say she is close enough to consider her a toddler ;o) I think she just needs a bit more confidence in her skills...I have seen her do it to know she can, but she still always reaches for something!
