9 Months!

Yes I know it's late, but better than never, right! Well the little munchkins are 9 months and how so much has changed!!

Paige...
You are still my sweet little mellow girl, nothing has changed there. You are beginning to move so much more, and actually just took your first few crawls the other day..YAY!!!! Your sister is mobile and sometimes you get sad when she leaves you behind. You play so well on your own and you get so focused on what you are doing. You LOVE attention and of course we love to give it to you. You also love music, and your little "elmo" boom box, you bounce on your butt and wiggle your toes when you hear it play. You will also wiggle your head and body when the radio is on, but if we turn to look at you you stop. You went in the pool for the first time this month and you absolutely loved it!!! You are a little fishy. You and daddy were in it forever and you splashed and splashed, and kicked your legs! You also hold your own bottle...such a big girl!! You have been trying more finger foods and sometimes you get too excited and shove too much in at once...so you can only get 1 or 2 pieces at a time. You really like watermelon and pancakes! You love to talk and make little blowing sounds with your mouth and its just so stinkin cute! You also figured out how to clap and do it all the time...and you do this new thing when you get excited where you flap your arms up and down and say "bla bla bla bla bla"! You are my little sensitive thing, and have such a big heart. You can get scared easy when there are too many people around or too many new faces. You just take a little bit to warm up and then you are your normal happy self. You let me know oh so gently when you want to be held. If I am sitting on the floor next to you, you put you hand on my leg and kind of lean into me and then bang your hand a few times and bounce up and down...so cute! You love to laugh and are so ticklish!!! You laugh so hard when daddy blows on your belly and makes funny sounds. It always makes me (and him) smile!

Emma...
Emma girl...you always keep us on our toes!! You are VERY mobile now and you love your new freedom! You discovered crawling and haven't looked back. You get around like a champ and you amaze me how quickly you can disappear. You have also discovered how to stand and you pull yourself up on everything!!! You also transfer from one object to another while standing. You even climbed stairs the other day (wow)! You are into everything but have learned very quickly what "no" means, and for the most part you do listen. I can tell it's really hard for you, I can already see the wheels turning, but you usually "get it" and turn away. You are an adventurous little girl who loves life! You are always smiling, but when you are unhappy we all know it! You have become more needy. When you want to be held you want to be held and there is no getting around it. It's mainly when you first wake up, or you are tired. You are a mama's girl (as daddy says)...but that's ok I love it ;o) I think cheerios are your favorite food ever..you get so excited about them and get really mad if it takes too long to get them to you, or if they are taken away when you are not done! And you shovel them in like you haven't eaten in weeks. You also enjoyed the pool and make the most hilarious sounds while in it, but definitely not as much as your sister, you had just as much fun standing up on the outside of the pool and playing with your toys! You are quite the chatter and are working on making different sounds with your mouth, you make sounds using "d", "m", "b" & "w". You have learned how to throw food on the floor when you don't like something or are done (fun)! You also know how to hold your own bottle. And you love dogs..you think they are hilarious and laugh at them all the time!

Girls...
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for you 2. You have changed my life in so many ways. You give me a special kind of joy that I have never known before. I continue to pray that God will protect you and keep you safe, and that you will grow up to be incredible godly women. Your daddy and I love you more than you will ever know.

A friend of mine made them, from a pattern off of Etsy..called the "caroline dress". They are super cute and really easy!
