WOW! I am kind of embarrassed at how late I am doing this, but I guess life just sometimes gets in the way! Well here they are, their 12 month pics and updates! I do plan to do a "formal" 12 month shoot!
Well girls, we have all made it through your first year of life! And honestly it wasn't like I thought it would be...it was better! You girls have been a true blessing and miracle from day 1. Your daddy and I wanted you so bad, and now that we have you I cannot imagine life without you. Being a mom is the most amazing thing in the world, you have both filled a place in my heart that has been longed to be filled! I could not ask for 2 more perfect, more beautiful and more fun loving little girls. This has honestly been the best year of my life, and I can only imagine what the years to come will hold!

Paige...You are such a big girl now and look like a little person when you stand up! You have come so far in the past months its amazing! You have gone from being a quiet little bug to opening up so much and showing a different side of "you". You are still shy and quiet sometimes, especially in places where there are lots of people, you just like to sit back and watch. You have become so mobile and even though you are not walking yet, that doesn't stop you!! You still LOVE music and have such a little beat!! You move and groove each time music is on, or when you play one of your "sound animated" toys. You have become a little bully though to your sister...I think you got tired of her bossing you around ;o) . Sometimes you are a little too rough though and do not know your own strength! You have to be careful with her, she is a little peanut! You love to point at everything and you say your own version of "what's that"...its always in a whisper, its so cute! You have also learned to give kisses and it is the BEST thing ever!!! I think one of my favorite things you have done!!! So fun to pucker your lips and ask you for a kiss and you lean in. Sometimes you get shy though and laugh and turn your head away. You are such a love and still have a very special attachment to your daddy! You sit next to him at dinner and often times I will look over and you are leaning your head on his arm...melts my heart! I love you so much my little "Paigey" happy 12 months and 1st birthday!
Emma...Still 12 months later, you are my drama queen. You have been it from the beginning and I have a feeling it is here to stay!! You are spunky and feisty and have a bit of a temper, but it makes you fun..always keeping us on our toes! You are determined and once you set your mind to something you do it. You are fearless...daddy jokes that you will be the first to go to the ER. You climb, stand, and fall off of everything and it doesn't fase you one bit. You get right back up and try it again! You have definitely mastered walking, and really never crawl anymore. It's so cute to see you cruise around because you are so tiny and petite...it looks like you are too little to walk. You have started to pick up your pace and have a feeling it won't be too long before you are running ;o). Like your sister you also point at everything!!!! You say "doggy", also in a whisper (which is so funny to me) and make the "woof woof" sound after it, or when you hear a dog bark. Shortly after your sister, you started giving kisses....you are much more bold about it, and will coming walking at someone with mouth open..its hilarious! You love to wrestle and play rough, it gets you really silly! You have also started to dance...you definitely don't have the rhythm your sister has, but its so funny to watch you stand and squat and bounce awkwardly. You have also become kind of snugly! You used to want nothing to do with snuggling, but now you will (on your own timing of course) snuggle...especially in bed...if its quiet and you get up before your sister in the morning. It's fun! I Love you my little "Bemmers" and thank you for a wonderful year...Happy Birthday!!!
Girls...
It is so cute to see you guys playing together more and more. With this comes more fighting, but it only helps you grow. I rarely find you both in 2 different parts of the house, you always travel together and it is just so neat to see. The best is when I can hear you laughing and giggling together. I hope that you continue to be the best of friends! It has been such a joy to see you grow these past 12 months...to watch you develop your own little personalities!
