It's Art Time!

Both Luis and I love art, and I remember loving to do crafts/art projects when I was a kid. So I have been eager to do something with the girls. As I was looking through the Sunday paper ads, I spotted finger paints and thought, I bet they would have fun with that. So Monday the girls and I went out to get some! I was going to wait for Luis to get home from work so he could be a part of it! When the girls got up from their afternoon naps, we put their smocks (big t-shirts) on and painted away! They loved it and made such "lovely" pieces of art (definitely frame worthy)!!! Paige dove right in, Emma was a little more cautious and made sure she had a drop of EVERY color before she even thought about starting. They each made 2 paintings and we also did their hand prints (Paige on left Emma on right). Emma maintained a very serious look throughout most of her painting time....intensely concentrating! This is just the first of many art projects!
