Mini Vacation - Cabin!

Once again it's been a REALLY long time since a post. Oh well...

The Walker's are very good friends of ours and they have a cabin up near Pinecrest and Luis and I have been going up there with them since we were dating. Its such a fun place and its so fun to be able to take our girls up there now! We spent a long weekend there about a month ago and I got sooo many pictures of the girls this is going to be one HUGE picture post!!! We had a great time. We went to the lake one day (no pics of that...I wanted to swim myself), went down to the river another day. Played in the pool on the deck. Then went for an evening walk again at the lake. The girls had a blast. Emma's favorite activity was definitely throwing rocks in the lake/river. We might have a little softball player on our hands...she already side-arms things when she throws! Paige also liked throwing rocks, but more than that I think she enjoyed helping her sister pick up the "big oons" (big ones), and watching her throw them. Emma really wanted to throw the big rocks but wasn't so sure about bending down in the river to pick them up...Paige was very willing to help her. Paige also loved the pool. They both LOVE the water but Paige gets really really excited!!! We also took a walk down to the little ice cream shop at the end of the road. The girls really loved that. Emma devoured her ice cream and even finished her sister's.

It is so fun to watch as the girls grow and interact and learn new things. We feel so blessed to be able to show them new places and experiences. Thank you Don and Patti for always opening up your cabin to our family.
