We decided to remove the trays from the girl's chairs, push them up to the table, and give them plates! They did so well! Now it feels more like they are eating with us. Where have my babies gone!!!

Happy First Birthday!!!!
Happy birthday my two beautiful young ladies!!! I can't believe its already been a year! One year ago today our lives changed forever, and there is not one bit of it that I would change. You are both amazing little girls and the love your daddy and I have for you is immense! Thank you for the best year of my life!
Well we both got to spend the day with the girls, and we had a blast! We headed to half moon bay to go to the pumpkin patch (we always said we couldn't wait to take our kids there), then to Three Amigos for lunch, then to the beach, the same beach we used to visit when dating, the beach where Luis proposed, and the beach where we went after we found out we were having twins. Its our favorite spot and it was such a great thing to do with the girls! We came home and had their first pizza, and sang happy birthday and had cake! Their party is Saturday and I can't wait!!! It was a perfect day! I took a TON of pics, but its late and I am tired so the pics will be added later ;o) Along with their 1 year pic and updates!

Paigey kisses and almost 1
So Paige girl has a new trick...she gives kisses...they are big wet opened mouth kisses but it melts my heart. Probably the cutest thing I have ever seen...especially because of who she is, and how sweet she is, its just precious! You have to face her towards you, and say "can I have a kiss" and pucker your lips and she moves in....and then smiles...priceless!!!
Well tomorrow my girls will be one. Luis reminded me as we were sitting on the couch tonight how one year ago around this time, the girls were kicking like crazy. It was true, we had never seen them move so much, they were very very active....they wanted out! And in just a few short hours our lives changed forever. We were blessed with the 2 most beautiful girls in this world. Happy almost birthday girls, can't wait to spend the day with you tomorrow!

Headband Project!
So I have been wanting to make the girls some headbands, since they are obsessed with pulling the little clips out of each others hair and putting them in their mouths (not very safe)! But wanted something to make them a little girly (so tired of people asking if Paige is a boy)! So I found this fun and REALLY easy tutorial here. I am not a fan fo the big "bow" type headbands and I wanted something simple, so this was perfect! I made it to fit the girl's heads and added a little flower! surprisingly they keep them on and they look so darn cute!!!

An Update on Paige's Eyes!
Well after a referral from her physical therapist (she was not satisfied with the other diagnosis), we went and saw the head pediatric opthamalogist at Kaiser. He diagnosed her with (you ready for this name)...Congenital Double Elevator Palsy (Monocular elevation deficiency). Basically her right eye does not move upward when she looks up at something. Which is why she often tilts her chin up (or gives the "whats up" look) when she looks at something. The only way to correct it is with surgery, but thankfully she has a really mild case and will only need monitoring! It is not really noticeable when you are just looking at her, but if you hold her head and try and get her to look up with her eyes, that is when you can notice that the right eye doesn't move up as far as it should. He actually said it is good that she is looking up with her head, because this helps develop her vision correctly. As she continues to grow and get bigger she wont need to look up as much and it will not be as noticeable. We were glad to finally get a diagnosis and know that we are just not "crazy" in thinking something wasn't quite right!

So Proud!
So my little miss Paigey has been standing on her own for a little over a week now, but they have been very quick stands and then she falls on her butt! Well lately she has been doing it more and more and for longer periods of time. She gets SO excited and the look on her face is just too cute for words! She is so proud of herself and loves when we get excited at what she is doing, her face lights up even more! Just had to share a few pics...pure joy!!
