These lives you have given us
are so tiny, fragile, and vulnerable,
safe in the womb of flesh and hope,
yet subject to danger and death.
O God of love, creator of life,
hear our prayer.
We want these babies so much.
Please grant these children of ours
a full term of nurture,
the joy and mystery of life,
and the blessing of your love.
Grant us the fulfillment of our dreams,
babies to cherish and protect,
children to teach and guide,
blessings to our family.
Amen.

Oh my Gosh! I'm crying(for real). Great stories to tell already of these two precious babies...I'm sooo excited and thrilled for you both. I love how you told Luis!...maybe this means you'll have a "dude" and "angel"??
