Well, I am now 35 weeks!! YAY!!! I went in for my regular ob checkup and she decided that she didn't want me to continue working anymore (my last day was going to be September 30th). My blood pressure has been up, and I am dilated about 1.5 cm. She said that if labor started now they wouldn't stop it, but she would rather they not come right now. So basically she told me to go home relax and not do a whole lot (which is very hard for me)!!!! I am also going in for NST's (non-stress tests) twice a week. Basically they monitor my blood pressure, check my urine for proteins (pre-eclampsia) and they hook me up to heartbeat monitors and monitor the girls' heartbeats and to see if I am having contractions. I had my first one on Thursday and all was good! My blood pressure is still on the high end, but we are trying to keep that controlled! It's crazy to think that we will meet these girls in 3 weeks (or less)....She is not sure if I will make it to my scheduled c-section date!
I am feeling pretty good still...but definitely getting VERY uncomfortable!!! Still not sleeping very well, I wake up a lot throughout the night. I don't have a whole lot of energy either, but hanging in there, and trying to rest to keep these girls in for a little longer!! Luis is betting they will be here by this next week!!! we will see!
Well as I sit here at home on on only my second day of "rest" I am already bored ;o) I have so many things I want to do, but am not supposed to!!! I don't know how people who are bed rest do it!!!! Well below is a belly pic (the big scary bare belly) at 35 weeks!!!!! I am being brave and actually showing you a bare belly pic ;o)
