Yes I know I am a day late...but that is just how it goes sometimes!!! So they are now 5 months and are getting so big and are so much fun!!!! We have been doing oatmeal for about a month now, and just tried bananas the other day....they are quite the hit! Trying to decide what to do next...either sweet potatoes or avocado...hmm??
So I wish I would have started this from the beginning, but I think I am going to start writing a little note to each girl on what they have been up to for that month...

You are such a sweet little thing and your smile melts my heart. This past month you come out of your shell so much more and are becoming much more interactive. You started to giggle this past month and it is just so cute! You are also learning that you have a voice, and I love to hear your quiet little coos! We started cereal this month and you liked it, you are still working on not pushing it back out with your tongue, but you smile when I sit you in your chair to eat! You LOVE bath-time, and you kick and flail getting mommy and anyone else who is around all wet! You recently discovered that when you smack your arm against the water it makes a big splash! You have also developed a real bond with daddy...you love him so much and give him lots and lots of smiles!! You have also started to grab and toys and you bring them straight to your mouth! I think you might be starting to teethe! You have started to bust out of your swaddle at night, and I wake up to hearing you sucking on your fingers through the monitor..its so cute!!
Emma...
Oh little "Emma Bemma" as daddy has so nicely nicknamed you! There is so much to say! You are full of personality and you constantly make us laugh. You are such a talker and you love to hear yourself! You will carry on and on and on, even if no one is around to listen! You are also on the verge of rolling over, but just haven't quite figured out how to get that right shoulder under! You are still my little sleeper and LOVE your nap times. You are definitely teething..the drool flows constantly and everything and anything goes in the mouth..even your little "gummed" bite can hurt! You are also becoming much more interactive and grab at everything..toys, shirts, hair, your face (you are so mean to your face), mommy's hamburger at the restaurant the other night.... You smile and laugh constantly and are such a flirt..you even do the little over the shoulder smile..oh girl what are we going to do with you!! You have also grown to love your puppy "Baxter" you laughed at him for the first time last week and it was so cute! You smile when you see him too!!
