Paige...
Oh my little "Paigey Waigey" (the nickname daddy gave you)...You are just so darn cute and you always make me smile!! You are still my quiet little girl and your sweet little sounds and smiles are just so adorable. You LOVE to laugh now though and you are so ticklish and you giggle when you get your clothes changed. You laugh is so funny too! You are trying to roll over, you turn your body and shoulders sideways, but just haven't gotten that you need to swing your leg over. You love love love your sweet potatoes!!! You get so excited when you see that next spoonful coming your way! You hardly ever get mad and cry, except for when mommy is taking too long to get you your bottle! You do get sad though when you want attention, and you know how to work that pouty lip! You have become quite the mover, and you love to bounce in your jumperoo! Your biggest accomplishment this month is teeth!! You have 2 little teeth poking through on the bottom! You were such a tough little cookie too...outside of all the drool, I never would have known you were teething! You were a perfect little angel! You are in a race now with your sister to see whose teeth fully pop out first! You have also decided that it is fun to wake up at about 4:00 am each morning now (except for the past 2 nights...maybe you are getting out of that habit)..not sure why, but when I go in there, you get a huge smile on your face and usually let out a small little laugh. Even though its 4:00 am and mommy REALLY didn't want to get out of bed, you still make me smile every time! You are such a good girl though, and go right back to sleep! I love you so much and can't wait to see how you change over this next month!
Emma...
Oh Emma.....there is so much to say!! You are such a comedian, definitely the wild child! You are rolling over now, and have become quite the mover! I think your mind wants to crawl, but your body just doesn't know how to yet! You are also getting better and better at sitting up, but when you get too excited or distracted by something, you fall to the side. Now that you are rolling over, you sleep on your belly almost every night, and you love it...I remember from when you were really little, you would sleep on your tummy on your boppy and I always used to say, "once she can roll I think she will be a belly sleeper" and sure enough I was right! You also have 2 little teeth popping through on the bottom, but unlike your sister, you definitely let us know that you were teething! you were miserable for a few days!!! You are still quite the babbler, and I have a funny feeling that once you can talk, there will be no stopping you! Our dinner time will be filled with stories from Emma..telling us what you did and how your day was, and the latest thing you discovered, etc. You have started to do this thing right before you get mad, and its really quite funny and just makes me laugh. You wrinkle up your nose, scrunch your eyes, and purse your lips and blow in and out...now you just need to figure out how to put your hands on your hips and you will be set! You have also mastered how to grab at things and you just don't stop...everything and anything in your reach is fair game. Your favorite is grabbing daddy's sunglasses off his face..he really loves that! You even knocked over your first water glass at a restaurant last week...daddy said you are going to be just like mommy (I am known for knocking over glasses of water...just ask Auntie Aimee). You do make me smile though....constantly, and its so fun to see your personality coming out more and more! I love you!
So its getting harder and harder to get a good pic of the girls, they tend to get distracted and they find more "entertaining" things to look at (even though I am flailing about in the background trying to get them to smile...wow I swore I would never be "that" person...I guess I do only do it when I am by myself taking pics...but still...I do it) So below are some of our attempts at a pic of the 2 of them...
